Over the years, our school has had many, many memorable teachers and administrators. If you would like to write something about a favorite of yours, please send them to Jane Torres to be added

We honor the memory of Laverne "Cy" Harader, one whose positive influence helped many students of West Side High School. A tribute to Miss Mabel E. Ward who had a lengthy and memorable career as a teacher at UCHS/West Side.
For many graduates of West Side High School, the name Walter L. Shaw brings memories of the days when music was as important at West Side as sports. He gave many students their first taste of being a winner. Billy Joe Baker, who was Mr. Shaw's student in 1946-1949 has written this tribute to Mr. Walter L. Shaw.
