|For many graduates of West Side High School, the name Walter L. Shaw brings memories of the days when music was as important at West Side as sports. He gave many students their first taste of being a winner. Billy Joe Baker, who was Mr. Shaw's student in 1946-1949 has written this tribute to Mr. Walter L. Shaw.|
